(I'm cycling around the world by bicycle)
"Kotambola" means “walk” in Lingala，spoken mainly in the western parts of the Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC former Zaire). I was there from March through to May during 2011 and had used “kotambola” as “travel” not “walk". After realising its proper meaning, I had still continued using it as “travel” because I liked the sound “kotambola” so much and now I’m going to travel slowly as if to“walk”.
It wasn’t until 3.5 years from my departure before I started my blog, since the end of 2012. I had never had a thought of making a blog for myself, but gradually my mind has changed in the last year or so. I had wanted a change. I need a change. Though I don’t know whether I can keep making it. Surely this is another challenge for me, it might be a good experience.
My blog is mainly in Japanese, but I’m also going to briefly describe in my broken English as many articles as I can because I want to learn and improve. Once in a while I’ll post recent news in English on facebook as well. I’m very happy if you point out when you find improper expressions.
